linda kasabian

Member of the "Manson Family" who became the star witness for prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi’s case against Manson and others. Kasabian was present at the scene of both the Tate and LaBianca murders, but did not participate in either of the crimes. She made a number of small attempts to stop the murders, though feared for the life of her young daughter who was living at Spahn Ranch. Two days after the LaBianca murders, Kasabian fled the "Family" and returned to New Hampshire where her mother lived and voluntarily turned herself in to authorities. Kasabian received immunity for her testimony against Manson and the other participants of the Tate-LaBianca murders and was consistently harassed throughout the trial. She is now believed to live in the state of Washington with her two children and has led a tumultuous life with small brushes with the law.
